NAWIC NSW | WORKSHOP:
Empowering Women in Construction - The "Internal" Circuit Breaker
Many women in construction achieve incredible things throughout their careers, yet internal barriers such as imposter syndrome, perfectionism, self-doubt, and the belief that "I'm not ready yet" often prevent them from putting themselves forward for recognition and new opportunities. These unseen obstacles can be just as limiting as external barriers, resulting in achievements going unrecognised and stories left untold.
Building on the foundations of our 2024 and 2025 workshops, this year's session takes the next step, from recognising your value to taking action. Through reflection, practical strategies, and shared experiences, you will learn how to identify and disrupt the internal narratives holding you back, build confidence in your achievements, and feel empowered to submit a NAWIC NSW Award for Excellence nomination, pursue an opportunity, or advocate for yourself and others.
The session will also feature a panel discussion with a previous NAWIC Awards judge, a past winner and the NSW Chapter President, offering valuable insights into the nomination process, what makes a strong submission, and the real impact of putting yourself forward. Panellists to be announced on socials shortly.
