Ellie Robson is Senior Project Engineer currently working on the Great Eastern Highway Bypass Interchanges Project for Laing O Rourke. Ellie has worked in construction for more than 10 years on large-scale construction sites in Perth, Sydney and London.
Holding two bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering and Arts at UWA, Ellie is a Chartered Member of Engineer’s Australia, NAWIC Mentor and also leads the Laing O’Rourke STEM+ Programme in WA teaching students in high school about construction.
Ellie is passionate about educating and encouraging more young women to pursue careers in construction, whilst also driving the change in culture so that when they get here, they want to stay. Ellie was recently awarded the NAWIC WA Crystal Vision Award for her advocacy and achievements in driving gender equality in construction.
