Adam has been an active contributor to the NAWIC QLD Community since 2021, serving as a Male Ally on the NAWIC QLD Women on Tools Committee, and as a 2024 Mentor in the NAWIC QLD Mentor Program.
Adam has spent the past twenty years as an accomplished General and Operations Manager with a robust technical background in Mechanical Engineering from RMIT University. With over thirty years of progressive experience in the HVAC and Facilities Services industry, starting as an Apprentice and working up to a General Manager before recently starting his own Advisory business, Adam is celebrated for his strategic planning, project management, and P&L oversight capabilities.
His recent notable achievements include scaling A.G. Coombs QLD from a startup to an industry leader, pioneering customer-centric strategies, securing pivotal contracts, and fostering a skilled workforce, while upholding an unwavering commitment to safety and employee mental health.
As an experienced leader himself, Adam has delivered effective growth and management of a team of 73 direct reports. His role as a mentor to apprentices was instrumental in assisting the Queensland Training Award winner for Apprentice of the Year in 2021.
Adam holds Trade Certificates as a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer & Electrical Service Technician, an Associate Diploma of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from RMIT University, and has completed various professional development courses, including Mental Health First Aid, High-Performance Mindfulness, and Cybersecurity Awareness.
