Tanya is a Registered Architect and rail architecture specialist. Tanya is currently the Architectural team lead for the Cross River Rail RIS project at Hassell and was previously the Infrastructure and Transport sector lead at MODE. Tanya has over 10 years of extensive rail infrastructure experience Australia wide.; she recognises the importance of well-planned infrastructure systems in delivering sustainable, productive and liveable communities; and understands that transport networks are vital to optimal city functioning. Tanya has been involved in the development of major road, rail, light rail and bus facilities throughout Australia and understands the necessity and critical value these projects deliver to the broader development of our cities and regions. Regardless of the scale and complexity of projects, Tanya’s technical ability and strengths in managing project teams and liaising with both clients and consultants allow her to achieve a strong collaborative and innovative outcome. Tanya is passionate about our native flora and fauna and is Treasurer of the Koala Action Group in the Redland City Council; Tanya combines her passion for well-planned transport networks and nature focusing on how wildlife deaths can be mitigated through design innovation and city planning.
