Michelle started in the industry as a cadet civil engineer for a local council and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. After moving to Canberra over four years ago, Michelle became a Geotechnical Engineer for ACT Geotechnical Engineers. Michelle has over four years experience in engineering design and project management, including experience in geotechnical investigations and design in the Canberra and Wollongong region. Michelle has geotechnical experience on Council projects, large-scale subdivisions, commercial/multi-unit buildings, fill platforms/road embankments, and civil infrastructure, as well a vast knowledge of geotechnical computer applications and is currently completing her Masters in Geotechnical Engineering. Michelle is passionate about improving the participation of women in construction and believes NAWIC will help influence the progress of women within the industry.
