Since graduating with an environmental science degree in Ireland, Aisling has gained over 6 years’ experience working as an environmental scientist on mines, land development projects and most recently the construction industry, specialising in contaminated land assessments and remediation projects. This has seen Aisling interact with builders, developers and architects and has sparked an interest in combining her environmental background with working in the construction industry. Aisling has joined NAWIC as she is passionate about progressing women working in the construction and building industry and looks forward to assisting in further raising the profile of NAWIC in ACT.
