LUNCH
AND LEARN:
The
Lacrosse Fire Ruling Explained
The
recent Victorian judgment around the apportionment of liability following the
fire at the Lacrosse Towers in Victoria has sent shockwaves through the construction
industry. In particular, many are surprised that the professional consultants
involved in the selection and approval of the relevant cladding product bore
the vast majority of liability (rather than the design and construct contractor).
Please
join NAWIC for the first of our ‘lunch and learn’ series, as legal experts at
Jackson McDonald explain the key findings and implications of the decision so
that consultants, architects, builders and subcontractors can better understand
what this judgment means for them.
Light
lunch provided.
