We know this year has been a tough year for everyone. The goals we set ourselves in the first days of 2020 now seem like a distant memory, and many of us will be glad to see the new year arrive.

Here at NAWIC, we're looking forward to the New Year too. We have exciting plans in the making and would like to invite you to be part of these plans.

We will be holding elections for the Chapter Council on the 13th of December at 10:00 am via Zoom. Conducting the election this way is a new concept for our chapter, but one which we hope you will embrace and get involved with.

Nominations are now open for Office Bearer positions (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer) Committee Chairs and Committee members.

For Office Bearer positions, candidates must complete a short questionnaire which addresses the following criteria: 

· Must have been a NAWIC member for at least 3 years; 

· Must have held a Chair or committee role for at least 1 year;

· Must be a leader within their current organisation and have managed budgets, teams, events etc.; and 

· Must demonstrate commitment to the NAWIC values and vision etc. 

Any member of the Chapter may nominate for the Chapter Council or to be a Committee Member.
