TAKE A BEHIND THE SCENES SITE TOUR OF AN EXCLUSIVE CBD PROJECT
Scentre Group and NAWIC NSW invite you to join them for a special site tour of 101-121 Castlereagh Street Sydney.
The redevelopment, being undertaken in joint partnership with Cbus Property, will see the heritage listed building once home to David Jones Menswear transform into 22 storeys of luxury residential apartments, floating above a heritage podium with 5 levels of retail and 6 levels of premium commercial office space.
The design team led by Architect’s FJMT, Scentre Group Design, Heritage Architect’s Weir Phillips and structural engineers Aecom have a shared vision to evolve this Sydney icon into a world-class destination where retail, residential and commercial combine, in the heart of the Sydney CBD.
Through the site visit you will get a behind the scenes look at the heritage façade’s temporary bracing and the structural works within, building up beyond the existing shell. There will also be a panel discussion with some key project members to discuss the highlights and challenges encountered through the design and construction process.
The tour will be followed by networking drinks.
Note: All visitors are required to bring or wear their own PPE, this includes hard hats, steel cap boots and hi-vis vest.
