NAWIC NSW | SITE TOUR: CENTRAL STATION SITE TOUR (MEMBER EVENT)

NAWIC and Laing O’Rourke invite you to join us for our FIRST ever RAIL site tour!!

This is a unique opportunity to get a behind the scenes tour of the Central Station Metro works.

Spaces for this event are limited so get in early! Central Station is Sydney’s busiest rail station with 270,000 passengers passing through every day. Laing O’Rourke are constructing the new Sydney Metro platforms as well as the landmark Central Walk - a new underground pedestrian concourse to help customers get around Sydney’s busiest railway station.

During the tour, you will hear about the complex engineering solutions being implemented whilst building within a live station environment, the historical finds from the former Devonshire Street cemetery and the existing ghost platforms. You will also visit live work areas in progress to build the new metro platforms, Central Walk and the new station entrance at Chalmers Street.
