Laing O'Rourke was awarded the contract in 2016 to deliver the upgrade works to an Australia icon, the Sydney Opera House. The works are the most significant in the facility's 40-year history and will improve the experience of performers and patrons alike, as well as the logistics of the building itself.

This first NAWIC breakfast tour will allow attendees to go behind the scenes of the Joan Sutherland Theatre, where upgrades of the theatre's machinery - including overhead machinery, orchestra pit lift and new control systems - have recently been completed.
