New Zealand has celebrated their 10th Anniversary and have recently launched their new website, take a look at NAWIC NZ

South Africa (SAWiC) is holding the First Women in Construction International Conference (1st – 3rd November 2006) close to the Johannesburg International Airport in Gauteng South Africa and the pre-conference tour (26th – 31st October 2006).

Canada

An overview of CAWIC – Canadian Association of Women In Construction

CAWIC are a newly formed association with their current head quarters in Toronto Canada.  They were incorporated as CAWIC - CANADIAN ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION in October of 2005.  One of their mandates is to grow the organisation across Canada, but for now is to concentrate on growing membership and providing members with current information on construction issues regarding women in our industry. Current membership numbers are growing with 77 individual members and 7 corporate members. They are very encourage by the growth and hope to have 100 by years end.

NAWIC Australia has an international affiliate agreement with CAWIC.  They will be visiting the NAWIC USA National Conference this month to participate in the formal signing of the international affiliation agreement with NAWIC US which they are very excited about.

England

A brief overview on NAWIC UK. The UK is split by geography and refers to the groups as regions rather than chapters (a peculiarity of language). The regions are Scotland, the North, East Midlands, West Midlands, South West, London and South East (1 region), and finally Surrey and Sussex (1 region)

Currently they have 150 members and 2 corporate sponsors. Their current mailing list is nearly 400 (this includes those that attend events but are not signed up members)
