Who can be mentored?
Mentees must be current paid member for 2012/13 of NAWIC or AIPM .  Any member can qualify as the occupations range from property management to architects to project managers to lawyers.  Age and experience is not a requirement for being a mentee or mentor - we will try and accommodate your request as you indicate in the Expression of Interest form.

Who are the mentors?
Mentors will be male or female mainly from AIPM and NAWIC and will be experienced and well respected in the industry.

How will the mentees be chosen?
We will try to accommodate all applications, but numbers will be limited at a certain level. If we are over the maximum number we will operate on a ‘first in first served’ basis, in conjunction with assessing the professionalism of the applicant’s submission.

Step ahead in your career now

If you are interested in enhancing your career by engaging with an experienced member of the construction industry, or if your experience and knowledge would be of benefit to others, please sign up.

What are my obligations?

We will go through the specific obligations on the night of the launch.  The level of involvement varies with the needs of the mentee and the extent of the mentor's input. Initially you could set up short meetings or conversations to get off to a good start and later meet less regularly or more frequently as required.

How do I sign up?

This program is strictly limited in numbers. Expressions of interest are ASAP. You must be a financial member of NAWIC, AIPM for 2012/2013 to participate in this program. If you are interested in joining the program please download and fill out the Mentoring Program INTEREST form 2012_2013 form and send with your current CV to ninnaw@gmail.com.  You will then receive a confirming email in the first two weeks of July about any further details required prior to the launch in late July.
