NAWIC STYLE GUIDE 2013

OUR NEW LOGO IDENTITY SUMS UP EVERYTHING WE STAND FOR.

Today, we can take pride in a new identity – the result of months of hard work – that will:

  • become instantly recognisable across the industry;
  • identify who we are, what we stand for and what we are trying to achieve;
  • strike a contemporary image;
  • represent us as: (in the specified colour palette)

o   confident

o   savvy

o   smart

o   vibrant

o   dynamic

o   optimistic

o   friendly.

The task of re-branding NAWIC started with our National Board articulating the vision, strengths, personality and positioning that will take us on into the future based on the fundamental proposition to champion women in construction.

The essence of the logo is an iconic ā€˜N’, made from one translucent path that wraps upon itself: a symbol for the direction, support and career pathway that we are striving to build for women in construction, ensuring their success as well as that of member companies and, in turn, our industry.

Like all good logos, it is simple, bold and confident, expressing our focus on the future. Its variations, expressed through alternative colour ways, communicates the diversity and vibrancy of our members, whilst also making it fresh and exciting to use. This pathway icon will form a dynamic central role in our brand identity and communication themes, putting us on course to build a brighter future for members.
