University Scholarships

Currently NAWIC is offering four scholarship opportunities in partnership with the following institutions:

Applicants for the scholarship must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia and must be female students currently undertaking full time study in an undegraduate course related to the building construction industry, at one of the above institutions.  Applicants must be members of NAWIC or prepared to join NAWIC at scholarship award time.

Applicants will be assessed from an essay and in an interview on their reasons for undertaking the course. The essay will be on the motivating factors for joining the Building and Construction industry and the contribution the applicant sees herself making to the industry over the next 5 years.

The applicant should not hold any other scholarship or award.

The recipients of these scholarships are required to contribute an article to the NAWIC newsletter and be guest speaker at a NAWIC event. The scholarship awards a monetary prize to the student and entry into the NAWIC mentoring program.

Please contact the relevant institution for further information regarding these scholarships.
