Greta San Miguel & Matt Callender - Hunter Mason

 
After completing a Bachelor of Construction at UTS, Greta San Miguel started her career as a client-side project manager. Beginning at a privately owned project management firm, and then moving to a role at CBRE, Greta was lucky enough to work with a range of clients. Primarily in the financial banking sector, she delivered large projects for ING, CBA and Westpac. Over that time Greta established her industry network and she’s proud to call so many of those clients now friends. 
 
In mid-2022, after a 12-year career she excitedly hung up her boots in project management to join the Hunter Mason team. 
 
In her current role as Head of Client Experience, Greta is enthusiastic about the continued growth of the Hunter Mason brand. She’s proud of the project opportunities that the team get to participate in and the highly competent team that deliver outstanding results for our clients across Australia. 
 
By utilising her project management background, Greta understands the complexities and intricacies of project success. Being a part of the Hunter Mason team has only further solidified her love for this industry and she’s always been very energetic when it comes to supporting the up-and-coming talent within the industry. 

Matt Callender is the Founder and Managing Director of Hunter Mason. Hunter Mason is a privately owned, highly capable construction management firm. 
 
Matt started the business in November 2012 from the spare room at home and for the first 5 years focused on project delivery, client fulfilment and building the supply chain.  
 
Now, almost 12 years later with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, almost 100 staff and with FY24 sales to be north of $200M, Hunter Mason has established itself as a strong offering in the fitout and refurbishment sectors across the East Coast of Australia.  
 
In 2023, Hunter Mason won the Employer of Choice award and three Master Builders Association Awards for Construction Excellence. 
 
Matt’s leadership has been a driving force in the success of Hunter Mason. His client-centric approach and genuine care for delivering exceptional results, coupled with his down to earth demeanour, has earned him a sterling reputation within the industry.
