NAWIC NSW 2012 International Women's Day Scholarship Winner

At the IWD cocktail party the 2012 scholarship winner Laila Mehrpour, Development Manager at Lend Lease was awarded the prize for her proposal to undertake research on the viability of high density urban planning for Sydney, and whether the ‘Copenhagenisation’ of Sydney is a feasible part of the city’s development future.  

Judges for the scholarship included Melonie Bayl-Smith – Director, Liquid Architecture, Cathal O’Rourke – Director, Laing O’Rourke, Mark Griffin – Building Services Discipline Leader, AECOM, Drenka Andjelic – Director, Construction Assignments and we are grateful for their participation in this initiative.
