CIT-NAWIC Women in Construction Scholarship


Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) has partnered with National Association for Women in Construction (NAWIC) to offer scholarships to support women in the construction industry undertaking a CIT course for personal or professional development.

Scholarships are a contribution towards the students' study costs.

The 2015 winners are:

Claire Williams - Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Site Management).  This course will help expand Claire's career opportunities as a young female in the building and construction industry.

Katica RajciCertificate IV in Building and Construction (Building).  This qualification will help Katica reach her goal of establishing her own small building company.

Megan BerryCertificate IV in Building and Construction (Contract Administration).  Megan will be able to use this qualification with her partner to develop their carpentry business and reach their ultimate goal of establishing a construction company.


Building & Construction Short Courses

NAWIC ACT in partnership with CIT are offering Member Opportunities to further your knowledge of the Industry.

Two types of courses available:

- Competency based units from the Cert IV and Diploma in Building and Construction

- Non-assessed  4 hour courses
